Yael has been a popular Australian actor who is best known for her role as the actress who played Lorna, Morello and Peretta in Orange Is the New Black. She also played Dora Lumley at Picnic at Hanging Rock. Her other roles include Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding. She has been known as a vocal advocate for women's rights and promoting the protection of climate and rights to abortion. Balmain Public School was her last school. In Australia she was a graduate of Newtown High School of the Performing Arts along with The National Institute of Dramatic Art.
