Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor who is known for her performances in a variety of types of film, television and the theater. She was awarded numerous awards like the Daytime Emmy Award. She is most famous for her role as Lieutenant Sheba from the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. The actress is the daughter and granddaughter of actors Gene Lockhart. It could be that her agent turned the part away without informing Anne. Glen Larson sent her an initial draft of a script for the role of a character on 1978's TV series Battlestar Galactica. The role was initially rejected since the character wasn't powerful. Glen came up with a completely new role for her, using Sheba being a more formidable character. After she read the first 25 pages of The Living Legend script, The Living Legend she accepted instantly. It lasted for one season. The actress starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
